Given the chance to redo this experience, I would likely opt for the Big Bus tour instead. With that option, I would receive recorded commentary on points of interest instead of the drivers' sarcastic remarks about our President, which I found quite disrespectful.
The tour was fantastic, covering all the key locations in DC, and the hop-on/off points were easy to locate. Our final guide, Everett, was excellent, combining humor with informative commentary. We've already suggested this tour to our friends.
I bought a ticket for the hop on hop off bus along with the Arlington Cemetery tour. Unfortunately, we could only do the cemetery due to car issues that prevented us from reaching the bus. We made it to Arlington and completed the cemetery tour, but no bus arrived for the rest of the hop on hop off experience. We missed another bus as well and didn't get to use that part of our ticket.
A fantastic opportunity to get acquainted with the DC area. Riding the Trolley allows you to discover various stops, and then you can return to explore them further. It’s an excellent adventure for the first day.
The tour doesn’t get you close enough to the monuments for a good view. I wouldn't recommend it. However, the drivers were all friendly, and I appreciated the Arlington portion of the tour.
Big K, our tour guide, was fantastic. She possessed extensive knowledge of the city's history and had a wonderful sense of humor, making everyone feel at home. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with her.
Our experience was incredible! JUNIOR went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. The drivers provided excellent service and shared a wealth of information. On our first day, we were frustrated with the heavy traffic in DC, which delayed us from reaching Union Station until 2:00 pm. However, JUNIOR generously offered us complimentary tickets for the next day, allowing us to complete the tour. A suggestion for improvement would be to make the trolley's "drop on/off" signs more visible and better marked, including precise GPS addresses for ticket holders. We later discovered that scanning the QR code on the paper map helped us track bus arrivals, which was extremely useful. We also enjoyed the Hollywood segment of the tour. Additionally, we attribute our ability to complete the tour to JAMES, a driver, Mr. T, and MAY, the trainer. They were truly wonderful individuals. Hiring them was a fantastic decision.

Each stop serves as a drop-off point, and there's a 20-minute wait for the next trolley. The advertisement can be a bit misleading, suggesting that you stop for photos and continue on the same trolley.
It can get a little breezy with the windows open, so it’s wise to bring an extra layer. However, having the open windows added to the enjoyment of our experience.
