Visiting the Washington Monument was truly an incredible experience. Reaching the top and observing the change in the marble structure was remarkable. The historical insights offered at the summit beautifully illustrate how people can unite. I was particularly moved to learn that David Rubinstein generously volunteered to cover the repair costs for the earthquake damage. Many thanks to him for preserving this iconic landmark.
I was unable to enter the monument. The park rangers informed us that this is a scam and that regular tickets are actually free, yet we paid $25 for something that costs nothing.
I cannot recommend this service. After realizing I had chosen the wrong time slot more than 24 hours in advance, I reached out to customer service for assistance but was told there was nothing they could do. We managed to see what we wanted, but we lost money due to a flight we had the next day. I'm especially disappointed that they wouldn’t provide any credit for a future booking. I will not use this service for tickets and excursions again.
