I had an excellent time on the Oceanfront. I recalled hearing about some of the cases we discussed. Andrew was an outstanding guide, knowledgeable and sensitive about the crimes. I particularly appreciated the images he shared with us. The walk was lengthy, but it was definitely worthwhile.
The tour was engaging and met my expectations. However, my only issue was that it coincided with a parade, causing me to spend significantly more time at the oceanfront than I intended. Walking tours should not be scheduled during parades, as it makes navigating through crowds difficult.
Due to being stuck in traffic, we couldn't arrive on time. I attempted to reach the owner several times but only got a response after our scheduled time, and he refuses to issue a refund despite his employee suggesting we could get one. As a business major and owner myself, I see through his excuses and want to warn others to avoid this tour guide. The lack of communication and apparent focus on profit over customer experience is frustrating. We had planned to book again for the following day, but I can't justify spending money with someone who clearly doesn't care.
There was a significant amount of walking involved. While it was interesting, it felt somewhat lackluster as the guide primarily read from a phone. A self-guided tour might provide a similar experience, perhaps even a better one.
Stefan did an excellent job leading the tour. Even though it was just my husband and me, he maintained focus and ensured we stayed on track throughout the experience.
