The pick-up was delayed by 45 minutes, and at the end, we had to wait in the van while the staff cleaned the equipment instead of being dropped off first. The water spots were enjoyable, though inconsistent. The tour leader was courteous and provided good information.
It was a slow experience, but the guides put in a lot of effort. Despite the full moon, we still managed to see the bioluminescent bay.
It was a terrible experience. I strongly advise against booking this tour. We endured an incredibly bumpy ride, walked barefoot through foul-smelling mud, and ultimately saw nothing.
This experience is truly one-of-a-kind and magical. We visited with our family, which includes our four children under 13. Our guide was excellent with the kids, showcasing remarkable patience, answering their questions, and ensuring the experience remained fun and engaging.
I had no experience with this tour. You need to plan your travel well ahead of time. I contacted the tour guide and was informed that I would get a refund since I couldn't arrange my trip. However, I never received the refund, and the guide stopped replying to my messages.
We had a wonderful time on this adventure with my husband and two daughters. Dion was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the tour. A kayaking experience in the bioluminescent bay is essential when you're on Vieques island.
What an incredible experience! I highly recommend our guides, who were punctual, safety-conscious, and informative, offering us a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We went during the new moon, and the bioluminescence was spectacular, with countless stars visible as well. Our family, with kids aged 20 to 11, had a great time, though we had hoped for clear kayaks.
We had a fantastic experience, even with the full moon. The kayaking was easy and enjoyable, and the kids, aged 9 to 16, truly loved it.
We traveled to Vieques specifically for this experience but were disappointed when the guide failed to show up at the designated meeting time. After waiting ten minutes, we learned that the tour had been canceled without any explanation, only notified through an email from Travelocity. It's frustrating that we weren't informed ahead of time so we could plan alternative activities. Others waiting for the tour, who had traveled from Europe, were equally let down. At least the refund was processed quickly.
The tour was moved to an earlier time without any notification to us. There was a lack of communication between the tour operator and the booking service. However, the tour operator did an excellent job assisting us in locating another tour.
