He picked us up in his personal vehicle and guided us through the island to the bio bay, and while the journey was a bit bumpy, his expertise kept us safe throughout. He was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable, providing us with plenty of insights about the island during our travels. On the way back to the ferry, he ensured we arrived on time and offered excellent recommendations for local dining options as we passed through town. The guide shows a true passion for the ecology of the Bioluminescent Bay. Even with a full moon, we were able to observe the bioluminescent microorganisms, and a tarp was placed over the kayaks to enhance our view. It was a fantastic experience.

The meeting time was pushed back by half an hour, and our guide arrived late for pickup. Additionally, just five minutes into the drive, the bus broke down because it ran out of gas, which led to a 20-minute wait in a hot bus. This delay extended our tour by about an hour. Before the trip, I asked the host about taxi availability upon our return, and he assured me there were taxis near the bay and available by phone. However, when we arrived back, the guide dropped us off and left quickly, leaving us stranded without any available taxis or open businesses in sight. I would have arranged a taxi in advance if I had known the situation. Fortunately, another tour guide from a different company helped us get a ride. The bay and the water were stunning.
