Four hours exploring Victoria — visit the clock tower, colonial buildings, and the vibrant local market with fresh produce and local goods.
This half-day tour begins with a hotel pickup in Victoria, the smallest capital city in the world. You'll first visit the iconic clock tower, a replica of the one in London, before exploring the colonial centre with its court buildings and post office.
Strolling across Albert Street, the tour leads you to the bustling local market. Here, you can take in the aromatic displays of fresh fish, tropical fruits, and a variety of herbs and spices. Remember to specify your hotel name when booking for a smooth pickup.

Our family had a fantastic time on the half-day tour of Mahe island with Nils from Cocotier Tours. He was very professional, and the locations we visited were outstanding.
The excursion I booked through AIDA was fortunate to have a local, German-speaking guide who highlighted the key attractions of Victoria and took us to one of the most stunning beaches in the north of the island. The landscapes were breathtaking, like something out of a picture book. After this experience, the Seychelles, particularly La Digue, have climbed to the top of my list of the most beautiful vacation spots.
It was a lovely experience. The driver was polite, on time, and very accommodating. He took us to all the listed attractions and even made extra stops for photos. We had ample time to explore both Mahe and Victoria, capturing moments and shopping for souvenirs and local treats. The drive along both the east and west coasts offered beautiful scenery on the way to and from Victoria to our Chalet in Mahe. It was definitely worth it.
In early September, we explored Victoria and were struck by its cleanliness and the friendliness of the locals, who were eager to assist with common tourist questions. It was unfortunate that the Hindu Temple was closed; however, I enjoyed browsing the local market for fresh fish, fruits, and vegetables, which brought back joyful memories of my childhood in Tanzania. On our way to Victoria, we made a stop at the stunning Eden Island, which offered a lovely atmosphere. Our stay at Kempinski was enhanced by John, who arranged transportation with a very amiable and knowledgeable local guide. This destination is definitely worth a visit.
The driver was pleasant, but I wouldn’t label this as a proper tour. He didn’t provide much information about the sights. The highlight was definitely the stunning Botanical Gardens. If given the chance to do it again, we would opt for the hotel’s bus and visit places independently.
