My wife organized a father-son trip to Santa Barbara and arranged surfing lessons for us. Pablo and Rachel were enjoyable and supportive instructors who kept us engaged. By the end of the class, we both had some success and created wonderful memories together.
We participated in two activities with this company, both of which were incredibly enjoyable thanks to the fantastic guides. The surfing lesson we took with them far surpassed our experience from the previous day at Venice Beach. Instructors Pablo and Piers were outstanding, fully committed to helping us learn, and by the end of the lesson, we managed to stand up on the boards a few times. Our Sea Kayaking guides, Shay and Paige, were equally impressive. Paddling along the coast was a fantastic experience. While my wife and I had a great time, I'm not sure our kids enjoyed it as much, possibly because we opted for single kayaks instead of double ones. If we return, we would definitely choose to book with them again.
We visited with our 17-year-old daughter and stayed at Hotel Milo, then drove to Mondo’s Beach for a surfing lesson. We had a fantastic experience. The instructors were friendly, helpful with gear, and very patient. Our daughter loved surfing and hopes to do it again.
During our trip to Santa Barbara from the UK with our children aged 7 and 8, we took a surf lesson with Marc, and it was a highlight for everyone. My youngest started riding his surfboard immediately, and my daughter followed soon after. It was a wonderful experience—thank you!
I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The staff was welcoming and supportive. Although our sea cave kayaking trip was canceled due to weather, we managed to arrange a surfing lesson for the same day by contacting the company. The surfing lesson was fantastic, with a wetsuit, booties, and board provided. Our instructor Sean was very knowledgeable, upbeat, and encouraging, making him an excellent choice for beginners.
Beau was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the experience. We had a fantastic time on the boards and loved riding the waves. We'll definitely book this activity again on our next visit.
