• Dashashwamedh Ghat, situated on the Ganges River in Uttar Pradesh, is a primary ghat in Varanasi, near Vishwanath Temple. It is linked to two Hindu legends: one states that Brahma created this ghat to welcome Shiva, while the other speaks of Brahma conducting ten Ashwamegha Yajnas here. • Harishchandra Ghat is one of the two cremation ghats, the other being Manikarnika Ghat. Hindus from various regions bring the bodies of their deceased relatives to Harishchandra Ghat for cremation. According to Hindu tradition, cremation at this ghat is believed to grant the deceased salvation or moksha. • The name of Assi Ghat is derived from a legend in which Goddess Durga, after defeating the demons Shumbha and Nishumbha, cast her sword into a river. The evening aarti regularly draws visitors, particularly during chaitya (March/April) and magh (January/February) months, when the ghat becomes particularly busy. • A boat ride lasting approximately 60 minutes will be included. • Kashi Vishvanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is among the most renowned Hindu temples and is located on the western bank of the sacred Ganga River in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, considered the holiest of Shiva temples. • The rituals held at the Ganges River are a tribute to its sacredness, believed to purify sins and provide spiritual cleansing. The ceremony's devotion and energy make it an essential part of connecting with the spiritual essence of Varanasi.
