The setup was very professional, and the warm flotation suits were essential once we got on the water. Raj was friendly and highly knowledgeable, striking a good balance between conversation, information, and allowing us to observe. The zodiac boat ride was also a lot of fun. We spotted orcas and humpback whales, which was incredible given that it was so early in the season. I would certainly recommend this experience to others and choose Prince of Whales as the operator.
We enjoyed a zodiac tour this morning with Mark and Logan. Sitting in the back row didn't hinder our view; in fact, it allowed us to engage more with our guides. We were fortunate to see a humpback whale performing for us, and we were thrilled to observe a pod of orcas hunt, catch, and share a sea lion. The small group size made it feel intimate, and the knowledge and enthusiasm of Mark and Logan made this experience feel like a real deal. If you're considering this tour, I highly recommend choosing the zodiac to be right in the heart of the action.
I had an amazing time on the zodiac tour with Mark and Logan. From the start, the front desk staff was welcoming, and their enthusiasm for whales really enhanced the experience. We encountered numerous whales, including a remarkable sight of orcas feeding. While seeing whales isn't guaranteed, Mark's expertise ensured we arrived at the right spots ahead of other boats. Having gone whale watching several times, I can confidently say this was my best experience yet. I would certainly choose this group again when I visit Victoria.

This trip is incredible! We've experienced it multiple times throughout the year, and it's always uniquely wonderful. We witnessed orca hunting, grey whales, and humpbacks while exploring the San Juan Islands from Victoria, BC. The entire experience, from check-in to the tours with guides Mark and Logan, was fantastic. The staff was enthusiastic and joyful. My sister-in-law was initially hesitant about the zodiac but ended up thrilled that we opted for it.
Our experience on the Zodiac tour with Roge was fantastic! We had an incredible time observing the killer whales, and Roge's knowledge about them was impressive. We will definitely return for another adventure whenever we visit Vancouver again.
We traveled to Victoria, BC to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation, and seeing orcas was her main goal. Mark, Logan, and Eden were excellent guides, ensuring we spotted not only orcas but also a humpback whale and sea lions. It was a wonderful experience, and we were extremely pleased.
