This three-hour whale watching tour departs from Victoria's inner harbour aboard the fast and stable 61-foot Ocean Cruiser, Marauder IV. With ample seating available both inside and outside, including a top deck, there’s no shortage of excellent vantage points for wildlife viewing.

It's definitely a valuable experience and worth the journey. You can count on spotting wildlife since they have an excellent system of boats to pinpoint their locations. We encountered a humpback whale and enjoyed a comfortable ride both ways, led by friendly and knowledgeable guides.
Our experience on the Spring Tide Whale Watching trip was fantastic. The weather was warm and lovely, and the crew was fantastic. We spotted a humpback whale along with a family of orcas. The crew demonstrated extensive knowledge about the area, the whales, and local wildlife. The trip fulfilled all my expectations. One remarkable moment was when an orca approached the boat, took a glance, and swam beneath us. It was delightful to see the crew's excitement during that encounter. Overall, it was a special treat for everyone aboard.

This was an excellent trip to a stunning location. The crew, especially Katie and Sam, shared a wealth of knowledge and experience. Katie presented an impressive catalogue of transient and resident orcas, detailing their fascinating history and lives in the area. Their passion was evident, and Katie's photos, including those from previous outings, were outstanding.
I had a fantastic experience. Although it began a bit slowly, the crew's patience paid off. We saw numerous Orcas and captured great images of them breaching. Every crew member was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
The crew, including Jasper, Aly, and Amanda, went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. We saw numerous whales, and Jasper allowed plenty of time for us to spot them. Can't say enough good things!
Dress in layers and consider bringing a hat or scarf. The crew was excellent. We had several opportunities, including one featuring the giant fin. My rating is 4 stars due to the small children wandering around; they need to wear life jackets, especially those under 6. Additionally, guardians should supervise kids on the stairs or upper levels, as it made some of us older mothers a bit uneasy.
The team at SpringTide Tours is wonderful. We had a great experience and spotted a humpback whale. The naturalist onboard captured photos for us, which we were able to download for free later. It was quite chilly, so we appreciated having an indoor seating area to warm up. If you're sensitive to seasickness, I recommend taking Dramamine beforehand since it can get rough and bumpy.
We had an incredible experience and got to see both Humpback and Orca whales. After spotting them, we patiently waited for their resurfacing. The crew was extremely dedicated and showed great perseverance to ensure we had more than just a brief view.
