On a bright and chilly day, we ventured into the Salish Sea with Captain Richard and naturalists Taylor, Andrew, Amber, and Michael. We were fortunate to encounter a lively group of three Humpback Whales that engaged in swimming, breach diving, and playfully slapping their pectoral fins. This unforgettable experience was made even better by our naturalists' insights into the whales’ behaviors.
We arranged this whale watching tour on short notice and were extremely pleased with our choice. The office and boats in Victoria were easy to locate. The crew members, Richard, Gord, Reid, Rajan, and Amber, were friendly and well-informed, with Amber offering helpful travel tips for the Sea to Sky Highway. We were excited to spot a variety of wildlife including orcas, humpback whales, seals, sea lions, and eagles. It was a wonderful afternoon with mostly pleasant weather.
