Reviews
The cabin was immaculate, and the staff were exceptional. The dog walks were beautiful, and I would definitely return. The fishing lake offers a lovely atmosphere in the evening while enjoying drinks. Highly recommended.
The ferry schedule was altered, and while the change was communicated to Viator, they failed to notify us. On the day of the trip, they also sent confirmations with the wrong sailing time, wasting a day of our planned activities.
Traveling from Victoria, BC to Seattle was fantastic. The seats offered comfort, and the views of Puget Sound were stunning. The experience was both quick and pleasant.
The FRS Clipper service from Victoria to Seattle is quite efficient. It offers comfort and a smooth ride, along with beautiful views of the islands. I highly recommend it.
Be aware of the seat level and any potential upgrades when making your booking. We reserved and paid for premium seating, but the ferry initially attempted to assign us to economy class. I had to contact customer service to resolve the issue, but everyone was helpful throughout the process.
Our journey from Victoria to Seattle was wonderful and smooth. The staff was friendly, and the luggage check-in service was reasonably priced. I suggest choosing seats on the upper deck in either vista or comfort class.
Traveling between Victoria and Seattle is convenient, but I'm glad I only made the journey one way (flying into Victoria from San Francisco). The economy seating offers little scenic enjoyment due to spray on the windows and the offshore route. While you might glimpse some marine life, it's too quick to really see anything, especially compared to the more scenic Alaska ferries. Many window seats seemed booked online, yet were unoccupied. It's a long ride, so bring something to keep you occupied. The staff in Victoria were friendly and U.S. Customs was efficient. Taxis were readily available at the Seattle dock.
The seating is comfortable, and the food is quite enjoyable. We had some nice drinks along with sandwiches, both of which were very tasty.
The boat trip from Victoria to Seattle was extremely relaxing. I would definitely choose to do it again if I need to make that journey in the future.
The VIP experience was certainly an expensive indulgence, but it was incredibly enjoyable. We had clear skies and stunning views of Mt. Baker and Rainier. The attentive staff provided snacks and drinks for teens, and the verbal customs clearance made the journey smooth. It lasted just under three hours as stated. There were only a few passengers in the VIP section during the last weekend of March. We walked both to the ferry and from it to our hotel in Seattle.
