Reviews
It was a wonderful experience. Checking in with my service dogs was straightforward. The staff was very friendly. My husband expressed how much he enjoys the arbor chairs.
The journey to the tower via the treetop boardwalk was truly captivating. Ascending the tower was an easy and picturesque experience. Though it was a misty day that somewhat concealed the views, we still relished the stunning scenery, which lent an enchanting quality to our surroundings. The nature walk back was equally engaging, and we excitedly searched for wildlife, discovering various animals along the way.
Despite the fog and rain, the experience is worthwhile if you embrace it with a sense of adventure and curiosity. We are in our 60s and still tackled the slide. As someone from the PNW, I found new insights about alders on Luke's Trail. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and even after a wind storm the previous night, everything was tidy and accessible.
The scenery was stunning, and the structure was impressive. However, it was pretty cold, making the slide difficult to use as you had to push yourself all the way down. I went with my husband and my mother, who's in her 70s.
This location is perfect for a day out with the family. It offers much more than just the tower. The walking trails are thoughtfully designed for kids, and we particularly enjoyed the interactive games and puzzles along the way. The entire area was clean, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Overall, it's an excellent spot for families.
The skywalk experience was wonderful. Despite the chilly weather and low visibility with intermittent rain at our arrival, the staff remained welcoming. After reaching the top and trying the slide, we enjoyed some hot chocolate and coffee to warm up. Just then, the sun emerged, revealing a stunning view. We chose to hike up again, and the cleared skies showcased a gorgeous landscape. It’s absolutely worth visiting, even in cooler weather.
The walk on the "net" was quite frightening, but I managed it with the support of my husband and son. I recommend trying the slide down; it was a blast! I'd love to experience the slide with my son again, although the return climb requires considerable walking. While I’m up for it, we had other plans that day. Overall, I strongly suggest this activity for adventurers and thrill-seekers. It's a must-do when visiting Victoria, BC.
1. It's advisable to eat before visiting or bring your own food since the dining options are very limited and pricey. 2. I was under the impression that the glass walkway would be ready by spring 2026, but it seems no construction has even started yet. 3. The trail back from the tower lacks clear markings, making it easy to confuse a service road with the actual trail due to the absence of "staff only" signs. 4. The promotional materials suggest a trampoline at the top of the tower, which doesn't exist. It's important to inform young children that the net is actually a walkway, not a trampoline. 5. Despite these issues, this attraction is truly beautiful with plenty of activities for kids of all ages. It's definitely worth the drive, and you can spend anywhere from 2 to 4 hours exploring. The slide in the center is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly with stunning views all around.
What a wonderful experience. The walk to the top was pleasant, offering beautiful views, and the slide was a blast! We enjoyed it so much that we rode it down twice. Afterwards, we relaxed by the fire while having a nice lunch.
Everything was very well organized and thoughtfully planned; it’s definitely a must-see.
