Enjoyable and educational experience. Definitely worth the time spent.
What a wonderful experience to discover Victoria! Each taste and drink was delightful.
I had a fantastic experience sampling the diverse food options in Victoria. Brenda was an insightful and engaging guide throughout the tour.
We had an amazing afternoon discovering Victoria on a private food tour with Brenda from Off The Eaten Track, who was simply outstanding. She guided us through the lesser-known areas of Chinatown and Old Town, combining seven delicious tasting experiences with captivating stories that brought the city’s rich history to life. This experience felt like more than just a food tour; it was a genuine introduction to Victoria via its flavors, streets, and history. Certain stops resonated deeply with us. Malabar stood out for its vibrant tastes reflecting Kerala’s Malabar Coast, while Maiiz Nixtamal left us impressed with their fresh volcanic-stone-ground masa and organic corn tortillas—truly some of the best we've tasted. We also enjoyed Dumpling Drop, a charming spot in Chinatown where we sampled their Thai-inspired dumplings, including a memorable pork belly version. One of the most intriguing moments was with Brenda in Fan Tan Alley, where we discovered a small Chinese museum nestled within one of Canada's narrowest passageways. The entire afternoon was an exceptional blend of food, culture, and storytelling, made unforgettable by Brenda’s warmth and expertise.
Erik is fantastic, and the food was exceptional. It was a wonderful surprise.

Brenda was fantastic on our food tour! She provided friendly service and had insightful commentary throughout the experience.
Excellent stops paired with engaging stories made for a fantastic experience. We made a last-minute booking, and I'm really pleased we did. Thank you, Brenda!
The tour offers an abundance of tasty food, ensuring you're well-fed. Eric excellently guided us in appreciating the entrepreneurs and their dedication to cuisine. I tried many new treats, and even as a non-foodie, I found them all delightful, particularly the purple yam Filipino Ube.
