We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure with Teddy, our boat guide, and Roger, the bus driver. Having previously experienced class 1 and 2 rapids, we were eager for more thrills, and the class 3 and 4 rapids in this gorge delivered perfectly. We began on flat water, where we learned commands and had the chance to swim for a bit before the real excitement began. We navigated the thrilling rapids twice, with a lovely hike in between to admire the various rock formations we floated by. I highly recommend this experience.
Absolutely worth it! Our group of ten first-timers had an incredible time. Guides James and Antonio were fantastic, providing a great history of the river during the trip. The staff was exceptional, eager to connect with us and learn why we chose Wildman. They celebrated our anniversary several times, which was a nice touch. Quincy, the photographer, captured so many memorable moments that we were happy to buy. After rafting, it was delightful to relax at the bar and chat with the guides about outdoor activities. They were sincere individuals who truly enjoyed their work. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are excited to return for this and their other offerings.
I had a fantastic afternoon on the water with our raft guide Robin and staff member Emily Nunes. The experience was thrilling, and Robin was wonderful to be around—professional, polite, knowledgeable, and quite entertaining. He even appreciated my jokes. I felt very safe knowing we were in such capable hands.
I was traveling alone, but I couldn't book my reservation without paying for two people. Wildman thought that was ridiculous and assured me he would refund half of my payment; I will wait and see if that happens. The trip itself was amazing! Mike was a fantastic guide and really made it enjoyable.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a white water rafting adventure on August 28. Every aspect of the trip and the company was outstanding. Our guide remained calm and patient, and the resort staff were exceptional. I would gladly do this again.
