Had a wonderful experience with a lively crew! It's a BYOB setting, and we were allowed to play our own music on the boat. It was a lot of fun!
We enjoyed a fantastic time on the tiki boat with Captain Rob and Jake. The price was excellent, and the boat was pleasantly uncrowded.
It was enjoyable, but the weather restricted our activities and it was somewhat disappointing that we couldn't venture out onto the ocean. However, the captain and his first mate were outstanding tour guides.
The experience was disappointing. Despite having two friendly captains, the weather was cold and windy. I had hoped we might see dolphins, but as soon as we boarded, the captain stated we wouldn’t be spotting any due to the conditions. This felt unnecessary unless he truly believed they could be found elsewhere. The kids were visibly bored and questioning the trip's purpose. While the boat ride in the creek was enjoyable, it didn’t justify the $460 price. I wouldn’t recommend this activity if the weather isn’t ideal, as that seems to be necessary for a chance at seeing dolphins.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We spotted numerous dolphins and various bird species. It was fascinating to learn about pelicans having hollow bones and their diving limitations. The guide shared captivating stories about the lighthouse, barrier islands, Civil War history, forts, and different boat types, leaving us wanting to learn even more. Our guides were not only knowledgeable but also entertaining. Plus, we were right next to the top-rated restaurant on Tybee Island, where we enjoyed margaritas and delicious seafood.
Although we didn't spot any dolphins, we still had a great time on the water.
This experience is a definite highlight when visiting Tybee. Captain Rob and first mate Sam provided excellent insights, humor, and warmth, making us feel like longtime friends. We encountered dolphins, explored the lighthouse and Fort Pulaski, and they answered all our questions while creating a welcoming atmosphere. I would happily participate again.
Truly incredible. This is the top experience you can enjoy on Tybee Island.
What a wonderful experience! The captain and first mate were both friendly and engaging, making the trip even better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The crew was extremely friendly, and Morgan, our captain in training, provided excellent service. The staff had great knowledge of the island, making it a relaxing outing that was accommodating for elderly guests. It was a fantastic value for the experience provided.
