The experience turned out to be virtual, which we didn't expect. There was hardly any guidance on how to proceed, and it left us confused on where to begin. It was our first attempt at something like this. When we sought assistance, the woman in charge was quite rude and failed to provide a clear explanation. Because of her attitude, we decided against participating in the scavenger hunt.
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the sights we had planned to visit through the scavenger hunt. The facilitation was exceptional as well.
A fantastic way to explore the island, the clues took us through both the historical sites and the shopping district.
Interacting with the local shop owners and hearing their stories was a highlight. We visited incredible spots that we likely would have missed otherwise, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
Although we had a fun afternoon, we didn't get our total points or know how we compared to other competitors. It would be helpful to inform guests that they won’t be staying in the same area where we paid $7.00 for parking.
The staff were very friendly, and the scavenger hunt was enjoyable, although I think the digital component could have been more prominent. My young son occasionally lost interest. However, I felt the cost was too high; lowering it might attract more customers. Nevertheless, if you're after a scavenger hunt on Tybee Island, this is a solid option. The accommodating staff truly enhance the adventurous experience.
This experience was underwhelming. The two-hour duration went by too fast, especially if you're interested in fully exploring the locations involved. There were some interesting sights, but I didn't see a clear advantage to this activity compared to exploring on my own. While the scavenger hunt activities were technically free, entering those sites and finding parking on the island required additional payments, with no discounts available. It would have been helpful to know in advance that an app is needed to pay for parking and that driving is necessary, as walking is not advisable.
