Reviews
The tour was both enlightening and engaging. The Reconciliation Park was excellently maintained and stunning. We appreciated the wall of quotes and took the time to read each one as we wandered along the pathway. By the end, we had gained a deeper understanding of this historical chapter and hope that more individuals will come to discover this previously concealed history.
The main center was closed to the public, which was very disappointing. There was no nearby parking, and I couldn't find any contact source for information. I wouldn't choose to do this again.
The historical significance of it all was far greater than I had anticipated, revealing injustices that continue to persist even today.
The tour provides a wealth of information and is quite thorough. The walk is manageable unless you have mobility challenges, as 1.5 hours might feel lengthy. The initial instructions can be unclear since you need to download the app to start. Aside from that, it’s an excellent experience.
The tour was well-paced and quite enjoyable. I appreciated the wealth of history that I had previously overlooked.
The tour itself wasn't at fault, but some parents were unaware of their passwords on their phones, which prevented them from downloading the app.
Nobody appeared for the appointment. The center was closed, and it seemed like most businesses were shut down on Monday. I have suspicions that this may be a scam.
The tour was quite informative, but do remember it's self-guided. After purchasing, you'll get clear instructions on where to start. If you're comfortable following audio cues to significant locations, you'll likely find it enjoyable. However, if you prefer a group setting and a live guide for questions, this may not suit you as well.
The walking tour was an outstanding experience. The only hiccup was arriving at the park too early before it opened, so I had to return later. Nonetheless, it was absolutely worth it, and I was amazed at how much I learned about Black Wall Street.
They took our money, but no guide arrived for the tour. I attempted to call, but no one picked up. We will definitely not be using their services again.
