Reviews
There is a wide variety of art mediums to explore. Just be cautious of the steps and varying floor surfaces like stone and wood.
This was a wonderful experience. Krista, the manager, welcomed us with warmth and provided an overview of key attractions. The art display was stunning and we gained insight into the history of dyes, rugs, and notable women from the region. We also enjoyed beautiful Arizona paintings by both past and contemporary artists. It was truly inspiring artistically. I appreciated the air conditioning and the effort made to preserve this cultural treasure for everyone to enjoy.
Don't overlook this hidden gem. The permanent and temporary exhibits were beyond what I anticipated. I especially enjoyed the current 'colors to dye for' and Cruzando la Línea. I'm eager to visit again. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors.
This museum is a true gem in Tucson and should not be missed. I absolutely loved it, especially the genuine Navajo rugs and many other fascinating exhibits.
A wonderful discovery featuring stunning works from local artists. I was especially impressed by the Navajo weaving and the Barrio exhibit.
During our visit to family in Tucson, we stumbled upon this art museum while having breakfast close by. Our experience was wonderful; the textile collection is stunning and historically significant. The paintings, sculptures, and pottery are also remarkable. There are additional history exhibits with engaging timelines and a captivating photography showcase—the museum exceeded our expectations in size and scope. Our guide was both knowledgeable and enjoyable to converse with. Be sure to check out the gift shop, which has lovely items.
