I have taken numerous ghost and history tours in various cities such as London, Key West, and Baltimore, so I looked forward to learning about Tucson’s history. Monk appeared to be a genuinely nice guy who is passionate about his work. However, I found this tour to be underwhelming. It seemed that there weren’t many compelling stories to share, and I felt he spoke for too long, causing my attention to drift. I truly wanted to enjoy this experience, but ultimately, I left feeling disappointed.
The tour felt more like a historical exploration rather than a traditional ghost tour. It was quite informative, and we appreciated it. Our guide, Devon, answered all our questions thoroughly. However, we faced a challenge with the meeting location; the address provided was incorrect, and we spent around 20 minutes searching for it. Fortunately, I received a text that clarified where we were supposed to meet.
