3Explore the beautiful boat and if we are lucky fishing, you will be served fresh fish, butter and flatbread in a real northern Norwegian way. This is really something for your bucket list.
4Join a 4-hour evening cruise aboard Stella Oceana to search for the mesmerizing aurora borealis. Our experienced local captain ensures the best vantage points for seeing the northern lights. Enjoy the serenity of the arctic landscape and, with luck, witness the northern lights while relaxing in the warmth of the hot tub. Savor a serving of our local reindeer soup. Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you would prefer a vegetarian soup. Our knowledgeable crew is there to answer any questions you might have about your surroundings, as well as the history and culture of the local area and Norway. 7Get a unique perspective on the majestic Humpbacks, Fin, Sperm whales and/or Orca's as they feed in the herring-rich fjords of the Arctic. With purpose made hybrid-electric boats for whale watching, we minimise disturbance to nature and whales. Leaving Tromsø in the morning, we head to where the whales are in time to enjoy the short hours of daylight. On the way you can take in the breathtaking views of frozen landscapes in comfortable, panoramic lounges and 2 decks. We use a hybrid engine to reach the whale’s feeding grounds, and as we near the whales, we switch to a silent electric engine that allows us to get closer without disturbing them. Please note that the duration of the trip depends on the whales’ location. It takes up to 3.5 hours to get to the whales and can therefore range from 8-9 hours. Please note that whale sightings are not guaranteed.
8On this whale safari tour, you will be on the boat that arrives first at the whale area from Tromsø Take to the waves and admire Norway’s native marine life by boat on this all-inclusive, polar whale safari from Tromsø.
