The Padmanabhapuram Palace is about a 15-minute drive from Thuckalay. • Explore the King’s Council Chamber and the Queen Mother’s palace, which features a painted ceiling and are considered the main attractions of this extensive palace complex. The palace includes a stone bed that stays cool during the summertime, along with another wooden bed crafted from 65 types of herbs, thought to hold medicinal benefits. • The premises also house a museum showcasing furniture, wooden and stone sculptures, coins, weapons, and household items. • After the tour, have lunch (beverages not included) at a nearby restaurant. • Post-lunch, transportation will return you to Thiruvananthapuram, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
