This excursion was fantastic. We started at Margaritaville on Negril Beach, where we enjoyed swimming and lunch, and then headed to Rick's Cafe for cliff diving and sunset views. It's a good idea to bring a small umbrella since afternoon rain can occur.
Kirk, our guide, was highly professional and punctual for the pick-up. As we were the only participants on the tour, he tailored the experience to our schedule. The seven-mile route was stunning. Strongly recommended.
Doowey was our driver for the day and I highly recommend him. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the island and its culture. He ensured everyone felt at ease and was punctual without any issues. It was a wonderful trip, and we accomplished everything mentioned in the itinerary.
I'm giving this a 5 out of 5 because our tour guide Bruce was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the day enjoyable. The 7-mile beach is stunning, providing ample time to relax and enjoy drinks; I chose iced coffee since I don’t drink alcohol. However, Rick's Cafe had disappointing service, with rude staff and delays in getting our orders, which were served at different times. Additionally, the prices were exorbitant; I spent $214 CAD for one appetizer, two meals, and three waters. Jumping off the cliff is a challenge, but it’s definitely an experience worth having.
Dowey was excellent. He arrived right on time and shared his contact details to ensure everyone stayed together at various sites. His extensive knowledge of the area, along with insightful history lessons during our drive, enhanced the experience. He provided guidance like a protective father, informing us about important dos and don'ts. I had an amazing and unforgettable experience.
The experience was awful. I was picked up in a truck with two other travelers who then expressed their dissatisfaction with the solo trip and decided to leave. The tour company promised they would return in 15 minutes, but no one came. By 11 am, the hotel informed me that the tour was cancelled. This caused me to lose an entire day, and since I work remotely, Sunday was my only free day.
My husband and I had an incredible experience from start to finish, and we would absolutely love to do it again.
