This tour offers a rare opportunity to visit the Luminous Lagoon, a natural phenomenon that lights up at night. After booking, enjoy a 35-minute drive from your hotel, AirBNB, or guesthouse in the Montego Bay area to the lagoon. Upon arrival, your host Dennis will greet you and offer a complimentary drink, either a blended Jamaican rum punch or spring water, before you board the boat.
The boat ride takes you out into the lagoon where you can swim for roughly 30 minutes in the glowing water. Be sure to bring your swimsuit, towel, and dry clothes. Keep in mind that the brightness of the glow can vary; it may not be as pronounced during a full moon or after rain.

I would definitely not choose this again. The cost was extremely high for the actual experience provided. Our driver was quite rude, and it felt unsafe being on a boat managed by a 13-year-old. We were in the water for only about 10-15 minutes. The drink choices were limited to a terrible stale rum punch or water. I strongly advise against it.
The staff was very welcoming, and the experience was enjoyable and soothing. We had around 20 minutes to swim and captured plenty of stunning photos, with assistance from the staff if needed.

It was a beautiful experience that met all our expectations. The hotel pickup was smooth, taking us to a serene bar with a pier where we enjoyed a complimentary drink. We then boarded a boat to explore the lagoon, which was much better than the other party boats overloaded with lights. Our boat was dim, allowing us to fully appreciate the lagoon's luminous beauty.
We were fortunate to have the experience to ourselves, making it quite a romantic outing for just the two of us.
The car we were picked up in was dirty, and the driver had a bad odor. Additionally, he arrived an hour later than the scheduled pick-up time.
The tour operator excelled in communication and was exceptionally friendly. Pickup was seamless, and he ensured we got to our destination without any issues. I couldn't have hoped for a smoother experience.
This trip was fantastic. It was amazing to be in the water at night, and we captured some incredible photos of the luminous lagoon. It would have definitely been a 5-star experience, but we spent a long time waiting for guests who never arrived. I understand it wasn't the tour guide's fault, but the young guy on the boat was engaging.
