This adventure combines tubing on the Rio Bueno with a stop at Bengal Beach, making for an exhilarating half-day outing. You'll start with a safety briefing, donning your helmet and life jacket before hitting the water in your tube. The journey downriver features a mix of rapids and tranquil stretches, surrounded by lush jungle.
Halfway through, there's an opportunity to leap from a platform into a refreshing lagoon. As you approach the Caribbean Sea, you switch to a raft for some paddling. Arriving at Bengal Beach, you can unwind, enjoy a swim in the ocean, and grab refreshments from the beach bar. Expect to spend a few hours enjoying both the river and the beach, with transportation included from your accommodation.

Floating down the river was enjoyable. The journey felt a bit brief, as it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes each way by vehicle from the Montego Cruise terminal.
This is a wonderful activity for families with children. The river rapids were enjoyable but not too intense, making it suitable for younger ones. They offer tubes in different sizes, including options with solid bottoms and seatbacks for smaller kids. While the second half of the rafting was somewhat physically demanding, it was still enjoyable. The beach area was not particularly appealing, and we felt somewhat hurried to leave, likely due to the other guests on our bus. Overall, we had a great experience and are happy we participated!
This was an incredibly enjoyable experience. The guides were helpful, friendly, and made the day fun. I highly recommend it. A few things to keep in mind: towels are not provided, so bring your own. Your belongings can be safely left on the bus. After tubing, there's a larger raft ride to the beach that takes around 30 minutes, and it's not too strenuous. There's a bar on the beach but it may not always be open, so bringing your own water and maybe a cocktail is a good idea. The drive to and from takes about 45 minutes each way.
The activity is misrepresented as a river rapids adventure. The promised short hike to a waterfall and crossing via a wooden bridge did not happen. Instead of real rapids, it felt more like a lazy river, with only a few rapids present. Paddling at the end was challenging due to the strong current, forcing us to walk along the beach to finish the trip. While it was enjoyable, it didn't justify the cost.
We enjoyed a wonderful experience with our fantastic guide, Davion. He made us feel at ease and entertained us with laughter along our river journey. Halfway through, we had the chance to swim, which was quite refreshing. At the end, we paddled in a raft to a beach; it required some effort and upper body strength, so be prepared. My only downside is that I wanted the tubing to last longer, but that’s something beyond anyone's control.
We had an incredibly enjoyable day! Our group of 11 included 5 kids under 7. The guides were fantastic and incredibly fun! Just a heads up, there’s no food provided, so ensure the kids are well-fed beforehand. I would certainly recommend this experience.
Our tubing adventure in Jamaica was fantastic. Anthony, Davian, and Travis were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and fun throughout. I was particularly impressed with their dedication. They expertly guided us along the river, ensuring everyone's safety while managing the tubes. With two other families joining us and a limit to how many tubes could be tied together, they organized the groups seamlessly, ensuring everyone had a great time. I felt a bit apprehensive about the rapids at first, but they turned out to be manageable, and no one flipped over. The guides made sure everyone felt at ease and secure throughout the experience. They truly exceeded our expectations in making the tour enjoyable and safe. We're thankful for their professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jamaica.
The kids had a fantastic time, and Davian along with his team made tubing really enjoyable. Although the ride to the river rafting was somewhat bumpy off the main highway, it was well-organized and the driver was pleasant. Afterward, you stroll down a beach lined with beautiful homes to reach a more modest area where you can enjoy the water and grab a Red Stripe with some chips, though that's the extent of it. The kids didn't mind at all. Overall, it’s a great choice for those on Disney Cruises.
We sought an activity suitable for our entire family, including our 4-year-old, and discovered this excursion that we found to be fantastic. From beginning to end, we were thoroughly impressed. The transportation was smooth, and the service was outstanding once we arrived. Our guide, Davion, made the experience even more personal by remembering our kids' names, which added to the fun atmosphere and kept us laughing throughout our time on the river. Our youngest had no trouble participating and enjoyed himself immensely. It's advisable to bring water shoes, but if you don't have them, it shouldn't stop you from joining. After the river portion, we paddled to a beach where we could either relax or explore. You can bring snacks to leave with the driver who meets you at the beach since there’s no food provided. The entire experience lasted about 2 to 2.5 hours, which was ideal for us as we wanted to avoid an all-day excursion away from our resort. I can’t recommend this local business enough, as it provided a wonderful day that I'd definitely repeat.
