Reviews
We took a trip with Safelytour on July 18th, which lasted over 180 minutes. While most of the journey followed the coastline, the final stretch involved a steep ascent. At the waterfall site, there are three barbecue restaurants, but it was very hot, crowded, and poorly organized, with little emphasis on cleanliness or social distancing. Although the waterfall is picturesque, it is small and not worth the trek. The food was subpar, so I wouldn't suggest dining there. On the return trip, we stopped at a lovely farm with chickens, a peacock, and rabbits, situated by a small waterfall and a stream. It's also home to a café serving food. I would recommend visiting this site in spring or fall, but summer is not ideal.
Our trip to Trabzon was quite a revelation. Living in Jordan as travel agents, we found Trabzon to be a favorite among Arab travelers due to its accessibility, lush greenery, and reasonable prices. The locals were welcoming, despite the language barrier, and we enjoyed great food and stunning scenery, along with some good shopping. We spent time in Surmene, explored Uzungol—though it was quite touristy and busy, it was still enjoyable—and visited Trabzon's city center, castle, and museums. Overall, we had a fantastic experience.
The location is nice and suits small groups well. It's great for unwinding, and the photography opportunities are excellent; you won't regret visiting.
