• Pickup from your hotel will occur in the morning for a one-hour journey to Alangudi, located 40 miles from Trichy. Alangudi is positioned along the River Cauvery and is renowned for the Jupiter Temple. The original structure dates back to the 7th century, while the current version was constructed in the 16th century during the Nayak Kings' rule. In Hindu astrology, Jupiter is linked to controlling an individual's intellect and wealth. The temple features Dravidian architecture, including a 2-tiered central tower with detailed exterior designs. It also contains a lingam, representing God Shiva. After concluding the tour, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant (beverage not included). Subsequently, you will be transported back to Trichy and returned to your hotel.
