Pickup may be arranged from hotels located in the city center or from designated points within city limits. An additional fee will apply for pickups beyond these central locations, based on the distance involved.

• You will be collected from your accommodation in the morning and transported to the Brihadisvara Temple in Thanjavur. This temple is among the largest in South India and is dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. It features a towering structure and its walls are adorned with inscriptions, frescoes, and sculptures related to Lord Shiva. • Following this, you will drive to Gangaikonda Cholapuram, located approximately 45 miles from Thanjavur. This area served as the capital of the Chola dynasty for over 250 years. The temple here is also dedicated to Lord Shiva and is renowned for its distinctive bronze sculptures. Lunch will follow at a local restaurant (at your own expense). • After the meal, travel to the town of Darasuram, which is about an hour's journey from Gangaikonda Cholapuram. Here, you will find the Airavatesvara Temple, a well-preserved stone structure shaped like a chariot, featuring sculptures of deities from the Vedas and the Puranas. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be driven back to Thanjavur and returned to your hotel.
