• Pickup from your hotel will occur early in the morning for a 3-hour drive to the Temple of Mars in Vaitheswaran. This temple is believed to grant valor, victory, and strength. Visitors often bathe in its water tank, which is thought to possess healing properties for skin issues and to help remove obstacles to marriage. • The next destination is the Temple of Mercury in Thiruvenkadu, located 10 miles away. Mentioned in the Hindu epic Ramayana, this temple is believed to date back 3,000 years, though it has been restored multiple times. Mercury is associated with wisdom and intellect. • The final stop will be the Temple of Ketu in Keelaperumpallam, a twenty-minute drive from Thiruvenkadu. Ketu's malevolent influence is recognized in Hindu astrology as 'the taker.' All three temples were constructed during the Chola dynasty, spanning from the 7th to 11th centuries A.D., and they exemplify Dravidian architectural style, noted for their 5-tiered central towers and intricate designs. At the conclusion of the tour, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, excluding beverages. Following lunch, transportation will be arranged to take you back to Trichy, dropping you off at your hotel.
