Pickup is available from hotels located in the city center or designated locations within the city limits. If pickup is requested from areas outside of these central points, an additional fee will apply based on the distance.

• You will be collected from your accommodation in Trichy and transported to the village of Poondi, which is about an hour away. The Basilica showcases a blend of Gothic and French architectural elements, featuring a main tower that rises 220 feet. Above the portico are statues of the 12 Apostles, alongside depictions of St. Francis Xavier and Fr. C.J. Beschi. Beneath the dome of the Basilica rests the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes, one of the three original statues created in France following the apparition. The Basilica also houses a relic of the True Cross, believed to be the crucifixion site of Christ. Declared a Minor Basilica by Pope John Paul II in 1999, it serves as a pilgrimage site for Catholics. Following your visit, you will have lunch at a local restaurant, which is included (beverages not included). After lunch, you will be returned to Trichy and taken back to your hotel.
