This four-hour tour takes you on a van journey through the underground wonders of Terceira Island. You'll explore Natal Cave, a fascinating lava tube, as well as the interior of the volcano at Algar do Carvão. The tour also includes a visit to the famous fumaroles, known as the Furnas of Sulfur, offering a glimpse into the island's volcanic activity. Finally, you'll have a chance to relax at the Lagoa das Patas leisure area. Comfortable footwear and a light jacket are recommended, as temperatures can vary inside the caves.

Despite the rain, we enjoyed a great tour of the lava tube and volcano. Although we had to miss the fumarole due to the weather, James generously extended our time at Quinta dos Azores for coffee and a snack. We also had a lovely visit to the peaceful duck lagoon.
