Don't miss the Algar do Carvao cave, even though there's an extra ticket fee; it's simply breathtaking. Mario was not only knowledgeable but also engaging, with a deep love for his homeland, a great sense of humor, and a broad worldview. He did his utmost to provide us with the best "Azorean" weather to maximize our experience, and I really appreciated the great photos he took of me. Communication with Guilherme, the tour organizer, was also excellent. The included lunch was wonderful; we couldn't finish it, nor the wine. I highly recommend this tour.
