How does pickup work?+
Free pickup is provided from hotels in Tel Aviv. Pickup occurs from the hotel lobby between 08:00 and 08:20. It is important to be prepared at the earlier time mentioned.
What's the itinerary?+
• After being picked up from the hotel, the drive to Jerusalem takes about an hour, followed by a walking tour in the historic old city, including the Armenian, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian quarters. Information will be shared about Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. • A visit to the local market known as the "Shuk" or "Suk" will take place, along with a stop at the Cardo, the ancient Roman and Byzantine road. • The tour will include the holiest site for Jewish people, the "Kotel" (Western Wall), where participants can write a wish on paper and place it in the wall's cracks. • An overview of the area surrounding the Temple Mount will be provided. • The Christian quarter will be visited, including the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, recognized as the holiest site globally, where the last station of the cross of the Via Dolorosa is located. • Participants will see Golgotha, the site of Jesus' crucifixion, and the Edikula structure, where Jesus was buried and resurrected. • The tour will continue to the Muslim quarter to view the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque, along with information on the Islamic significance of these sites. • After the tour, participants will return to their hotels.
