We really had a great time on the tour with Santtu. His communication was excellent, especially regarding the chance of rain, as he reached out via WhatsApp to suggest we bring a rain jacket or umbrella. The meeting point was centrally located and easy to find. We sampled amazing local foods from both the outdoor market by the waterfront and the nearby indoor market hall. Santtu also pointed out various interesting sites and shared some Tampere history. Because of the weather, we could choose between having coffee on the rooftop or staying warm in a microbrewery, which Santtu and a friend recently opened. This tour is definitely worth it and comes highly recommended.
Santtu, our guide and co-owner of the new venture, was outstanding. His communication before the tour was superb. The centrally located meeting point was easy to find. We sampled local delicacies at the open-air market near the waterfront, in the adjacent market hall, and at the old fabric factory. Santtu also guided us to some nearby attractions, sharing fascinating local history along the way.
