I booked a tour online a month in advance, but when we arrived at the dock, no one showed up. After contacting customer service, I learned the tour was canceled for maintenance. It was extremely frustrating since we drove all the way from Orlando to Tampa for this experience. I even received a text the day prior with a link for our vouchers. I spoke with Captain Larry, who apologized for the cancellation. Now, I'm waiting for my refund and will consider booking directly with the tour operator next time.
The boat used for this tour isn't featured in their advertising for a reason, which was quite disappointing. The information provided about the tour was minimal and rather trivial.
It was a wonderful and fascinating experience with plenty of history. I enjoyed seeing dolphins and the beautiful views of the University of Tampa.
