The experience was disappointing as there were no dolphins, and it felt more like a tour focusing on houses, their prices, and history. Previous guests on an earlier boat appeared unhappy when disembarking as well.
The captain was extremely friendly and well-informed. The boat offered mainly shaded areas, though this changed with the sun’s position. We enjoyed stunning views, and the captain made every effort to locate dolphins, resulting in us spotting about 6-7 of them during the trip.
The tour guide was friendly, provided complimentary water, and shared extensive information about dolphins, including their life cycles and diets, along with a wealth of Tampa's history. We spotted many dolphins, and the guide made a point to visit multiple locations for better views. It was completely worth it.

Parking was quite inconvenient, located approximately 1.5 to 2 blocks from the dock. When I called for assistance regarding parking, the staff were not very helpful. They mentioned that the departure at 2 PM would be prompt, regardless of whether I arrived. By the time I found a parking spot, it was clear we wouldn't be able to make the cruise for which we had already paid.
Our time on the water was fantastic. The boat captain and tour guide was very experienced and made sure we had several dolphin encounters. He shared a wealth of information about the area as well. We definitely recommend this experience.
