Our trip was genuinely carefree thanks to our incredibly reliable driver, Passindu, who came highly recommended. The day before our adventure, all details were confirmed in writing, making us feel well-prepared. Pickup and transport were flawless—always on time, pleasant, and secure. The safari in Yala National Park was a standout experience. We encountered a remarkable variety of wildlife, including elephants, crocodiles, many exotic birds, and even a leopard! Both Passindu and our jeep driver shared extensive knowledge about the area and its wildlife, showing their expertise. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch, and the entire trip was superbly organized. We felt both comfortable and safe throughout. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable safari experience.
The entire experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The pickup and drop-off were seamless, and communication was top-notch. Although we didn’t spot any leopards, we were delighted to see a baby elephant and many other animals, along with stunning landscapes. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Rising early was worthwhile, as the scenery was stunning, though I didn't encounter many animals during the tour.
The tour involved a lengthy journey, and the tour guide was excellent. However, I personally don’t think it’s worthwhile to travel from Colombo, as it took a total of 12 hours just to see 5 or 6 animals.
The tour was incredible. It wasn't inexpensive, but my mother always said you get what you pay for. Our guide noticed elephants long before they came onto the road. We also spotted a leopard and many other animals. It lasted four hours and was a fantastic experience.
The private car pick-up from our hotel to the jeep collection point was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari; our driver and the park ranger were skilled at spotting animals. Seeing the elephants relaxing in a lagoon and eating water lilies was a highlight for us.
We highly recommend this fantastic trip if you're in the Galle area. We saw leopards, elephants, various birds, monkeys, deer, buffalo, crocodiles, and lizards, among others. It was surprising to experience so much in just one day, making it truly worthwhile.
Our day trip to Yala was simply fantastic. The driver and guide were excellent, and we were fortunate to spot amazing wildlife, including a leopard and eagles. I highly recommend this well-organized experience; everything went perfectly.
Our visit to Yala Safari Park was enjoyable, but we were let down by the lack of animal sightings. Often, we found ourselves surrounded by 30-40 safari vehicles and other cars trying to catch a glimpse of wildlife. We did manage to see one leopard from afar and another up close. I understand that wildlife doesn’t perform on command, but the sheer number of safari vehicles likely affected our chances of seeing more animals. However, the journey to and from the park was enjoyable, and our driver in Yala was excellent.
We took a private day trip to Yala from Galle, and it was outstanding. Our pickup was at 10 am, and we were driven to a lunch location near Yala. After that, we switched to a private jeep for the safari. The safari experience was remarkable. Our driver was careful and steady, providing us with useful information during the ride. The slower driving pace was crucial, as we observed numerous animals that faster jeeps missed, which likely made their ride less comfortable. We encountered a variety of wildlife, including a sloth bear, an eagle, water buffalo, mongoose, different birds, and deer. The highlights were definitely spotting elephants in various situations, such as a herd moving together and a mother and her two calves playing in the water, along with a leopard resting in a tree. We exited the park just before 6 pm, witnessing the animals becoming more active as they approached the lakes for water, and returned to Galle around 10 pm. They provided bottled water and lunch, and while trainers are acceptable, keep in mind that the terrain is bumpy, which may be a concern for those with back issues.
