The safari was extremely well organized in every aspect. The communication from the company through email and WhatsApp was top-notch, with prompt responses and helpful suggestions to reschedule in order to dodge crowds. The driver/guide was timely, friendly, and highly skilled.
Our holiday representative arranged a safari day for us prior to our departure from England, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. We were pleasantly surprised to discover it was a private tour exclusively for us. Sam, the manager, contacted us the night before to confirm the details, including our driver’s name. Dinesh was outstanding; he picked us up at 5 am and returned us after 6 pm, sharing many fascinating insights along the way. We decided to visit Galle the following week and reached out to Sam to request the same driver and a customized itinerary, which was easily accommodated. We explored Galle Fort, a silk factory, and the tsunami museum, all of which were highly engaging. We paused for lunch on our return to the hotel as well. Our driver greeted us with a sign when we arrived and took us to the park. Once there, we met our safari guide and driver. We encountered many elephants, as well as two types of monkeys, a mongoose, land monitor, deer, peacocks, and more. I highly recommend this experience.
The pick-up was convenient, right outside the cruise ship, followed by a seamless transfer to the jeeps. We enjoyed a delicious lunch afterward and then visited the elephant orphanage. Everything was well-organized and professional.
We took our day trip in December 2023 while cruising. The organization was impressive. Our cars were ready for us in the designated area and were easy to locate. They were clean, the driver was respectful, and we received a tasty lunch along with bottled water. We spotted many elephants and various bird species. This tour comes highly recommended.
The tour was exceptional, highlighted by a fantastic guide. We encountered numerous animals, including elephants, peacocks, monkeys, crocodiles, various lizards, and birds, not to mention a mongoose. Lunch was also excellent.
The port pick up was on time, followed by a drive to the national park that included a pleasant lunch break at Niwahana. The four-hour jeep safari was enjoyable, and the van driver paused a few times to highlight interesting sights along the route.
This experience was fantastic, very well organized, and we had an excellent day. Witnessing wildlife up close in their natural habitat was incredible. The entire process from booking to our return to the ship was handled well by HTM.
We had an enchanting experience with our exceptional guide Rumesh and our safari driver Sujith. Rumesh was an ideal host, being articulate, knowledgeable, and charming, which made him a joy to be around. He picked us up from the cruise terminal and took us on a scenic route that he described beautifully. He coordinated the transfer to Sujith, whose keen observation skills and understanding of the park were remarkable. It was a truly unforgettable day with great guides. I highly recommend this trip and encourage you to request Rumesh and Sujith; they are fantastic.
