The day trip around Ella was fantastic, allowing us to appreciate the stunning scenery of Sri Lanka beyond the coast. Our driver and guide, Pradeep, excelled in his role; he was personable and ensured everything ran smoothly. Notable moments included the 9 arch bridge, a train journey through beautiful landscapes, Little Adam's Peak, and a private tour of a tea plantation. It was a wonderful yet exhausting experience that I highly recommend.
This trip was truly unforgettable. Although we departed Colombo at 4am, it was absolutely worth it. My guide was very friendly, and after a 3.5-hour journey, we reached a stunning waterfall. Next, we crossed the 9 arches bridge before being dropped off for the train ride. Be sure to request a window seat for the breeze and great photo opportunities. The tour of the tea factory was fascinating, and the lunch buffet had a breathtaking view. I highly recommend this day trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip, starting with a timely pickup and excellent service throughout, thanks to our driver Dinesh, who was very attentive. We experienced all the sights we anticipated, transitioning smoothly from one to the next without feeling rushed. The trip was beautiful and, although long, completely justified the early start. I highly recommend Bentota Travel Mart; they are an outstanding company to work with, and I plan to use their services again on my next visit.
We chose this tour because our time in Sri Lanka was limited, and we wanted to explore Ella. It was an excellent way to visit several attractions in just one day. Although the guided tour provided limited information at each site, it was still enjoyable. We would highly recommend this experience.
It is a lengthy day with an early beginning, but it is definitely worth it. The train experience was incredible; I even got to see the driver's cab and speak with the driver about his extensive experience. Lunch was delightful, and our driver was outstanding. The tea plantation offered a lot of educational insights, though I wish there was a shop available.
