  Five Stars - Sake and other things

  This tour is fantastic. Luca is multilingual and speaks excellent English. If you're interested in history, miso, and learning about sake making and tasting, this is an excellent option. Luca also provided us with a great restaurant recommendation and assisted with our booking. I highly recommend it.

  Terrible experience. Avoid spending your money here. The advertisement didn’t mention any time. I received a WhatsApp message just 5 minutes before the tour started saying I couldn't join at another time and there would be no refunds. Be cautious.

  Sake tasting with Luca

  Luca was exceptional! He went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable. I gained a lot of knowledge and he even managed to secure a reservation at a fully booked restaurant on Saturday night. It was a pleasure to meet him and participate in the tour. Thank you, Luca, for accommodating us late!

  So Glad I Didn't Miss This

  I arranged this tour at the last minute, and although there wasn't a specific time initially, Luca reached out the next day to let me know it would be in the afternoon. Unfortunately, my train wouldn't arrive in time, but Luca was incredibly accommodating and organized a special session for my friend and me. I truly appreciate that, as the experience was wonderful. Luca was friendly and had extensive knowledge about Takayama and its sake. I'm really glad I didn't miss this opportunity.

  Luca was an incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and friendly guide. When we overlooked the confirmation email and missed our scheduled time, he kindly rescheduled for us on the same day. We gained so much from the tour and highly recommend it.

  Fun and informative experience :)

  We really enjoyed our time with Luca, who provided insights into Takayama's history, took us to a miso brewery for a tasting, and introduced us to the area's beautiful crafts, which we appreciated. The tour concluded at a sake brewery where Luca explained the fundamentals of sake brewing, and we had the chance to sample different sakes before continuing to taste on our own.
