Two days, includes trekking to Tunupa volcano and sunset at the salt flats, guided by experts with over 10 years of experience.
This two-day tour offers an in-depth exploration of the Uyuni Salt Flats, including a trek to Tunupa volcano. Throughout the trip, experienced guides with over a decade of local knowledge lead the way, ensuring you gain insight into the area.
One highlight is the sunset tour, where you can witness the captivating mirror effect created by the reflections on the salt flats. The tour runs from April to December, coinciding with the dry season when these stunning views are at their best. It’s advisable to dress in layers, as temperatures can drop significantly in the evenings.

The Uyuni salt flats and the pink flamingos in the lagoon were the standout features of this tour, creating lasting memories. Along the journey, we made several stops to marvel at unique landscapes and observe local wildlife. The guide, Mr. Zhou, provided detailed information about our surroundings, which I found impressive. Additionally, the long drive across the vast, flat terrain was a unique experience for me as a Japanese visitor. However, my limited English proficiency made it difficult to catch all of the guide's enthusiastic insights, which I regretted.
Our experience was amazing! It felt like we were in paradise. Everything was organized perfectly. We managed to see so much in a brief period, and they were quite accommodating. Rachel is an excellent guide—she's kind and a skilled videographer and photographer.
The experience was incredible, and I truly enjoyed it. The first guide, Ualberto, was fantastic and very friendly. The second guide, Jose, showed us the salt flats and other sites like the salt hotel. He took great photos and was both friendly and knowledgeable. He was genuinely one of the best guides I've ever encountered.
The two days spent exploring various locations were truly fulfilling and created lasting memories. Our guide was cheerful, kind, and courteous, making the tour enjoyable.
I had an excellent experience with drivers and guides Gualberto and Benito, along with 11 other guests in two cars. This tour was definitely one of the best parts of my three weeks in Peru and Bolivia. The two-day tour was fantastic, and the hotel for the night was wonderful with a warm room and hot water.
Ever was an excellent guide—very professional, skilled, and reassuring. The scenery was stunning, though we wished for additional stops, maybe replacing the salt processing site and train cemetery. A visit to a salt extraction site could have been interesting too. The accommodations and meals, particularly breakfasts, were lacking. Additionally, we would have liked to see Dali’s desert.
Everything was perfect. I had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed the experience.
On the first day, we explored just the lagoon, but the second day was exceptional. The stargazing experience over the salt flats provided surreal photo opportunities, and the sunrise was breathtaking. Enjoying wine at sunset was the perfect finishing touch.
The guides provided exceptional service and truly made the experience memorable. The hotel was very nice, and meals were included at all locations. The guide was definitely the highlight of the trip.
We had an amazing experience with the Andes Salt tours, especially thanks to our guide Edbert, who was very professional and captured wonderful photos of our group at Salar. I highly recommend it to everyone. One suggestion for improvement is that the agency could provide packages with diverse menus and traditional Bolivian cuisine, as the hotel food left much to be desired. Overall, I still recommend this incredible experience in Salar de Uyuni.
