We took a fantastic two-hour tour from Bay Bulls in August, and although we missed the whales due to the season and fluctuating weather typical of Newfoundland, the sight of thousands of puffins, murres, and other birds was incredible. The bird colonies were truly fascinating. Our guide, Liam, was not only highly entertaining and knowledgeable at just 17 years old, but he could also sing quite well. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour, even if it took me a while to share my thoughts.
Our experience was fantastic; we spotted puffins, icebergs, and even a seal. I did feel seasick (17 weeks pregnant) but the crew was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the trip.
This experience was excellent from beginning to end. We were picked up promptly by Patrick and soon headed to Bay Bulls. After boarding the ship, we enjoyed a fantastic tour with icebergs and then arrived at the puffin ecological reserve. It was incredible to witness hundreds of thousands of puffins and various birds in the sky. Our guides, Patrick and Daniel O’Brien, were entertaining and informative, making the experience even better. This wonderful family-run operation should not be missed.

This tour was absolutely fantastic! The guides and staff were incredibly friendly and enjoyable to talk with. We witnessed a stunning puffin colony and some icebergs. We gained a lot of knowledge about puffins and other birds, and our family participated in the screech-in! I would strongly recommend this experience; just being on the boat was wonderful.
Although we visited early in the season, we were fortunate enough to see puffins in the water and learn about the local bird species. Additionally, we got an up-close view of an iceberg. It was an incredible experience, and Noah was an excellent tour guide.
