I brought my grandson and his friend to Padre to celebrate his 17th birthday. They had surfing lessons with 77 Surf & Skate, and the instructor was fantastic. The boys really enjoyed themselves.
The instructor's name escapes my memory, but he was incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and kind with the children. He advised us on when to wait for a good wave and what to look out for while getting started. He also captured some photos and videos of our lesson. I'm extremely grateful for his guidance and for making it enjoyable for all.
Ryan was an attentive and knowledgeable instructor who made surfing enjoyable and approachable. In just one hour, my 8-year-old daughter and I, at 38, were riding waves during our first lesson. He was patient and even got a beach chair for my mom who came just to watch. I highly recommend this experience for anyone of all ages who wants to have fun riding the waves. It was a great time.
