If you need to change your plans or switch to another activity, this company will not accommodate you. I booked an experience for my husband's birthday, but after witnessing a serious accident and helping the victims, we returned to our hotel exhausted in the early morning hours before our 9 AM appointment. I requested a rescheduling due to the distressing circumstances, but they refused and showed no understanding of our situation. My husband also tried to transfer our booking to a less expensive option, but we were charged the full price for the jet ski tour, around $380, with no opportunity to use the jet skis or any other activities. Although I recognize it was within 24 hours of our booking, our tragic experience deserved some consideration.
We had a fantastic tour of the island with our guide, Troy. He was extremely friendly and provided helpful instructions on how to ride the jet ski. His knowledge of the island made the experience even better. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would gladly book this tour again.
I strongly recommend the jet ski tour with SPI Excursions. This was our first visit to South Padre Island, and we were incredibly pleased with the experience. The hospitality and kindness shown to my family during the excursion made our trip even more special. We will surely book with them again on our next visit to SPI.
Our experience was very disappointing, and we cannot suggest this location. We rented a jet ski, but the boat's engine was slow from the start and ran out of fuel halfway. The guide claimed that mud was stuck and accused us of not following his instructions, which was untrue as the issues were present from the beginning. He refused a refund but offered another ride on a future visit, which we find unacceptable. It's advisable to look for other places that provide better service.
