Four hours by small bus — visit Pitchfork Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Reid Falls with guided commentary and photo opportunities along the way.
This four-hour tour takes you to several remarkable waterfalls in and around Skagway via a small tour bus. Guided by a local expert, you’ll have the chance to learn about the area's history while visiting key sites including Pitchfork Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, where you're welcome to feel the water flowing.
Expect stops at International Falls and the Gold Rush Cemetery, with a hike through the temperate rainforest to Reid Falls. A moderate level of fitness is required as the trail is uneven and unpaved — sturdy shoes are recommended. Enjoy great photo opportunities at scenic viewing platforms throughout the tour.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour operator was excellent and exceeded our expectations. He took individual photos for anyone who wanted them at each stop. The waterfalls were stunning. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was fantastic and definitely worth it. Tim, our guide, provided a lot of valuable information. He also made sure to take photos of us at each wonderful stop.
The tour was fantastic, and the guide was exceptional. The small group size allowed everyone to hear well and ensured each person could see everything. Our guide also took individual photos for those interested at every stop.
Opting for this tour instead of the train was a great decision. The walking was minimal, with only one steep trail to the falls, which was definitely worth it. Although it rained consistently, we were prepared. There were two stops with outhouses, plus clean restrooms at the visitor center before we began. This was our favorite tour.
This tour in Alaska was the best I've experienced. The van had very comfortable, cushioned seats. We were able to visit every waterfall and had plenty of time to sightsee and take photos. Our driver was friendly and informative, making it a once-in-a-lifetime trip. I will definitely include this on my list for every visit.
This tour should not be available until later in the season. We were not informed that the waterfalls would remain frozen for another three weeks until the tour began, leaving us with only one to see. The Welcome to Alaska sign was also obscured for another two weeks. Essentially, we took a bus to the peak, had a bathroom break, and then returned. It felt like a waste of money.
The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and straightforward, providing a factual experience. The journey up the mountain was enjoyable, with stops along the way. There was a lovely hike to a beautiful waterfall at the end, offering excellent photo opportunities.
An excellent tour, easily one of my top picks. The guide provided insightful commentary and made sure to capture fantastic photos of everyone at each location. I would definitely recommend this experience.
The experience felt more like a bus ride than an actual tour, despite the guide's efforts. The waterfalls were average, likely due to visiting in early May.
The waterfall tour provided a decent overview of the local falls. While the guide was knowledgeable, he waited until the end to take questions and didn’t engage the group much in conversation. The mountain views were stunning, making the experience average overall.
