Our favorite part of the trip to Alaska was this excursion. The check-in was smooth, and the boat departed promptly. The crew was outstanding, taking us right away to spot the wildlife we were eager to see, including sea lions, bald eagles, whales, and otters. We were thrilled to observe several breaching whales for nearly thirty minutes.
The weather was perfect, the scenery lovely, and we saw plenty of whales. However, it was the guide, the boat, and the captain that truly made this trip unforgettable. I would do it again, rain or shine.
The tour was amazing! The crew was wonderful and made it a lot of fun. We captured some incredible pictures and truly enjoyed ourselves.
Our group had several toddlers, and we felt very at ease with ample space for them to enjoy the views through all the glass windows or from the top of the boat. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, making our whale watching trip a truly unforgettable experience.
This was an incredible whale watching and wildlife tour that we will cherish forever. Kara and Steve were patient and knowledgeable, far surpassing our expectations. We spotted sea otters and a bald eagle, with countless whales making it hard to capture every moment. A whale even surprised us by appearing right behind the boat, and we witnessed one leaping out of the water. This excursion will be a topic of conversation for years to come. Highly recommended; you won't regret it.
I had an incredible experience exploring Alaska's nature. We spotted sea lions, a family of sea otters, and even had a brief sighting of a whale. The captain was patient, waiting for the whale to appear. The crew, including Karley, Nameda, Connor, and Captain Bailey, were very friendly. We were fortunate to enjoy sunny weather as well.
I had a delightful boat trip. The crew, though quite young, were very knowledgeable, friendly, and showed great enthusiasm for the wildlife. We spotted sea lions, otters, and even a whale fin. Since it was just the beginning of the season, I think there might be more to see later on.
The tour was exceptionally friendly and kind, suitable for all age groups. The seating was comfortable, and everything was clean and well-kept. Our knowledgeable guide provided engaging entertainment throughout the experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The tour guide was entertaining, and the seating was clean and well-kept.
This was not a whale watching experience as advertised. According to the guide, whales won't arrive in the Sitka area until August or September. We only saw one eagle, some sea lions on a buoy, and a group of sea otters. It felt like a $318 boat trip in the straits.
