Choosing the Kings E-Bikes tour in Sitka was the highlight of our trip. Exploring the area this way was both convenient and relaxing. It allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle, making our time in Sitka truly memorable. The staff were excellent and made the experience smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this activity.
The charming couple who ran the business were incredibly helpful and provided excellent insights about Sitka. The bikes were fantastic, and the helmets fit well. Exploring Sitka on E-bikes is undoubtedly the best option. I would happily do it again and strongly recommend renting E-bikes from them.
Renting an e-bike for the day was a fantastic experience. After disembarking from the ship, the rental shop was conveniently located at the port. I was initially apprehensive since I had never ridden an e-bike before, but I caught on quickly as it was easy to operate. I managed to visit the Fortress of the Bears, the National Park to see the Totem Poles, and explored downtown to check out numerous historical landmarks and grab lunch. I highly recommend this activity.
Picking up the bikes right at the cruise ship was a breeze. The staff was excellent, providing helpful suggestions and a map. It was our first experience with electric bikes, and they were incredibly user-friendly. I would highly recommend them.
Renting the bike was straightforward and conveniently located right by the ship. A short tutorial made both of us, who had never ridden before, feel very at ease. The main road has a generous five-foot shoulder, allowing us to ride comfortably without the fear of traffic. We covered 20 miles round trip to Whale Park and took breaks to explore various spots like overlooks, beaches, Lincoln St., Sitka National Park, and a brewery. This experience was the highlight of our time in Alaska.
The pickup right at the port was quick and convenient, allowing us to start riding without delay. The instructions provided were very detailed, and we appreciated having a phone number to reach out to, which yielded prompt responses to our inquiries.
Situated just up the ramp from the port, this location offers a straightforward and informative video to watch. The roads are mostly bike-friendly, with just a few short sections that aren’t. They provide a map and a contact number for assistance. We rode our electric bikes from the dock all the way to the end of the road in Sitka and back without depleting the battery. There are numerous ideal spots for photos and areas to discover, making it the perfect way to experience Sitka. We also spent a significant amount of time downtown off the bikes. It was an incredible and safe adventure. One suggestion would be to add a phone holder on the bike for navigation.
The Kings E bikes were an excellent choice for exploring Sitka. You can see the sights at your own speed and appreciate the stunning scenery alongside your friends.
We enjoyed a beautiful late summer day, ideal for a biking adventure. The staff ensured we were comfortable with our bikes and offered excellent directions and suggestions. We cycled 5 miles from the cruise ship into town, feeling secure in the bike lane. Continuing beyond town, we traveled along a wide paved trail to the Fortress of the Bears. The ride was easy and packed with sights. On our return, we stopped for lunch in town before heading back to the ship. There were some headwinds, but the bike performance was flawless—definitely one of our favorite days.
This was a straightforward process and provided an enjoyable experience.
