We were picked up on time at the designated meeting spot that we had confirmed via WhatsApp. The day proved to be quite fascinating. Mr. Sothy shared extensive insights into the local culture, religion, and current affairs. A highlight was lunch at the Don Bosco training center, where we enjoyed delicious dishes served by the aspiring staff. The visits to the school and market hall were also memorable. Thank you, Mr. Sothy!
Me Sothy was an excellent tour guide. We stopped at several locations, including a beach for swimming, a local market, and a school where we distributed pencils to the children. Lunch was at a training school, and we had the opportunity to meet a monk who blessed us. The day was filled with activities and was truly enjoyable.
This excursion is wonderful, and I highly recommend it. The sites we explored are stunning, and our guide Eav was fantastic and very welcoming. I encourage you not to hesitate in booking this.
The half-day tour was wonderful. Our guide, Sen, was outstanding—his extensive knowledge and historical insights really enriched our experience. He also assisted us with translations at the market. We were delighted with the tour and gained valuable insights into Cambodia while seeing a variety of attractions in a brief period.
The guide was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated. We enjoyed authentic local culture rather than typical tourist spots. The experience in the countryside and fishing village was amazing, and we had a late lunch by the sea, skipping a local market. The leather seating in the brand new Toyota SUV was a nice touch, along with the cold water and towel service.
Our day spent discovering the city and countryside of Cambodia was wonderful. Mr. Sothy, our dedicated guide, tailored the experience to our preferences, frequently checking in on how much time we wanted to spend at each location. We gained valuable insight into urban life and ventured out to the countryside to observe local living and work. A highlight was the boat ride through a rice farm, where we encountered many beautiful birds. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience authentic Cambodia.
The immersive experience into local life was truly rewarding. I had a wonderful time with Sothy as my guide, making it a beautiful day overall.
We had an exceptional full-day tour with Sothy, the owner, exploring the authentic lifestyle of Cambodians. He drove us in a new electric SUV to the countryside, about 30 minutes from the city. Sothy's perfect English made his clear and captivating descriptions very engaging. We began at the nearby fishing port, observing local life. Then, we made an unexpected visit to an elementary school where Sothy facilitated our donation of school supplies, which was enjoyable. In a 1st-grade classroom, we wrote our names on the board, and the teacher translated them into Khmer. The children sang the ABC song in both English and Khmer. We then toured a small shipbuilding village and a family-run shrimp-processing hut, followed by a walk through homes on stilts over a shallow bay. Sothy shared insights into boat building and shrimp processing, interacting with residents to let us view their living spaces. Our adventure included a boat ride through rice field canals, where we witnessed fishermen at work. On our way back, Sothy checked at an unfinished pagoda, and we were lucky enough to be granted access. A man unlocked the door, allowing us to explore this vast space while Sothy shared valuable information about Buddhism. After a covered lunch, we browsed the extensive city market and drove around to see key city and beach attractions. I highly recommend reaching out to Sothy for his tours. An excellent variety of activities made this tour very enjoyable. We visited a temple and the White Mansion, which was constructed for the French Governor who later became France's president. The boat ride to a floating restaurant was a highlight, and the meal was fantastic.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day exploring authentic Cambodia. Our guide, Mr. Sothy, was excellent and made an effort to customize the tour according to our interests.
