Reviews
Wandon, our tuk-tuk driver and guide, was fantastic. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was fluent in English, and had in-depth knowledge of the sites we explored. I strongly recommend him, but be ready for a bumpy ride to the cave.
We had a wonderful time with our guide. He was very attentive while driving and shared many interesting anecdotes along the way. We truly enjoyed our morning.
I enjoyed the experience; the guide provided clear explanations. I would certainly recommend it to my friends.
The experience felt more like a tuk-tuk ride than a guided tour, with minimal explanations provided. There are far more comprehensive options available, often including meals and at a lower cost. We left feeling quite let down, although the visit to the plantation was worthwhile; it can easily be done alone.
Rany was recommended to us by another traveler. We easily arranged an afternoon tour, and he picked us up from our location in town. Rany drove attentively and took us to fascinating sites, just as he promised. It was a wonderful day.
Roy, our guide, was fantastic—he drove carefully and provided both information and entertainment. We highly recommend him and this tour; it’s a wonderful way to spend half a day. We opted for Bo Tree Farm, one of two pepper plantations, and were glad we did; the experience was much more authentic and fulfilling.
The excursion was fantastic, and we gained a lot of valuable knowledge. However, our guide only reached out on the morning of the tour. We had to contact the banana age the night before, who then told us about the hotel pickup time. On the day of the tour, the guide requested an additional $5 for the pickup, which we found unacceptable, as he explained it was a private tour. Advance notice would have been appreciated.
This was an exciting guided tour in French lasting over two hours, complete with tastings at an eco-responsible plantation. The low price supports various initiatives like school funding, free tutoring for students, above-average wages, and employee social insurance, all contributing to an exceptional product.
Chiet, our driver, was friendly and well-informed, creating a comfortable environment during our leisurely drive through the Cambodian countryside. The sites we visited were stunning, and the tour was neither too lengthy nor physically demanding, aside from the numerous stairs to the Cave Temple. I highly recommend this tour as a must-do in Kampot.
Our guide Roy was delightful, providing humor and making us laugh. The Tuk Tuk ride allowed us to appreciate the countryside. However, the Secret Lake felt more like a visible roadside lake. The Salt Fields were simply water ponds, and the Cave was just a cave. The Pepper Farm offered an engaging 30-minute tour. Overall, we had a good time, but the tour lasted only 4 hours instead of the 5-6 hours mentioned, with much of the time spent waiting.
