We spent a wonderful day exploring the salt fields, caves, the mysterious lake, a pepper farm, and the crab markets in Kep. The following day, we ventured up the mountain to enjoy the views and feed some monkeys. Roy was an excellent guide; he was friendly and knowledgeable. We even had the pleasure of meeting his lovely family at the conclusion of our second day. I highly recommend this tour.
We unexpectedly joined another tour with Roy, an excellent and engaging local guide. Traveling through the countryside in a tuktuk was a wonderful way to take in the scenery. The stop at the pepper farm "Botree," run by a local farmer, was fascinating and included a tasty pepper tasting. I highly recommend booking this tour. We arranged a guided tour to explore the salt fields, a quaint village, a Bo pepper plantation, and a water reservoir (we skipped the cave). Our guide, Roy, picked us up from the hotel; he spoke excellent English and provided insights throughout our journey. The highlight for us was the salt fields, where the workers were incredibly friendly, and it was impressive to observe their labor. If you visit, please be respectful and consider leaving a small donation rather than just taking photos. The pepper plantation was informative but not particularly noteworthy; it mainly serves as a chance to buy pepper and learn about the three varieties. We appreciated the beautiful countryside during the trip and recommend others consider taking the tour and buying some salt and pepper.
We had a delightful morning in the countryside thanks to our guide, Roy. He arrived promptly for pickup and suggested a lesser-known pepper farm, helping us avoid long waits for the tour.
We explored a salt field, cave temple, lake, and a pepper plantation with Roy in a tuk-tuk. While these stops are typical, Roy made the day truly enjoyable and informative. We opted for a visit to a smaller, locally-owned pepper plantation that featured an excellent tour and tasting. Roy's outstanding English, combined with his knowledge and fun personality, really enhanced our experience. Booking any tour with him is a great choice.
My friend and I took part in this tour and were pleased when our guide arrived right on schedule. We had a wonderful experience exploring locations like a pepper farm and gaining insights into Cambodia. As an optional excursion, we also visited Kep, a charming town known for its crabs. The organization was excellent, making the entire experience truly enjoyable. Thank you!
Roy is an excellent driver and guide who skillfully navigated us through the local attractions of Kampot. He shared fascinating stories about his life in Cambodia and his English is outstanding. Highly recommended.
The tour was highly informative. I really enjoyed the pepper farm. Our guide, Ray, was exceptional and addressed all our questions. It was a great experience.
This was an exceptional tour, and our guide Roy was incredibly knowledgeable and captivating. The highlight for us was visiting the local Botree pepper farm, run by a family, as opposed to the larger, busier LaPlantation. We believe in supporting local businesses, even abroad. I highly recommend booking this tour; it’s worth it.
I had a private experience with the guide, allowing us to tailor the tour to my interests. I received plenty of information while we leisurely drove through the countryside, giving me the chance to take photos and truly appreciate the scenery. Additionally, there was another guide at the pepper farm.
